The Scarborough Junction development will be a highly walkable, pedestrian-first mixed-use development that enjoys a wide variety of accessible housing types, an abundance of convenient retail and a spoil of stress-free transit connections. This project will tie together several existing neighborhoods, creating a master-planned community connected to a major transit station. This new community will provide accessible housing and desirable real estate opportunities. The design will create public centric spaces with streets, squares and parks for an inclusive array of residents to enjoy.

Also proposed are: 165,000 square feet of retail space, including a grocery store; a 40,000-square-foot community facility; a 10,000-square-foot daycare centre; a new 5,780-square-foot GO station; a 4.63-acre park; 3,666 parking spaces; a number of privately owned but publicly accessible spaces, including a public square surrounded by retail; plazas throughout the site; and a live/work pedestrian mews.

The plan for Scarborough Junction covers 10 development blocks that will include 17 residential buildings ranging in size from 12 to 48 storeys and encompassing 5.27 million square feet. They will have over 6000 condo units, including 22 live/work units, and 801 purpose-built rental units.

Bordered by St. Clair Avenue East to the North, Danforth Road to the West and the railway to the Southeast, this expansive site is perfectly situated for current and future residents to take full advantage of major transit routes.
